The ASW-1203 is a rugged 12 inch car subwoofer that works in small enclosures down to .5 cu. ft. We’ve added more output capacity since the earlier models. The old ASW1201 was measured at 121.7 dB at 12.5 Hz in Tom Nousainne's car. The ASW1203 can get louder with higher power handling and greater excursion. The Xmax measurement is now plus or minus 18 mm, or about 1.5 inches peak to peak. The maximum RMS power handling is now a higher 400 Watts.
